All those interested in joining ICAN and current ICAN members will need to use ONLY force-free methods and will maintain animal welfare in their practices.
ICAN accepts the following for membership:
- Charities and non-profits
- Organisations
- Individuals who are a part of our member organisations (covered as a part of your organisation membership)
- Individuals
Our fee structure is as follows:
- Non-profits and Charities – Free Membership
- Organisations- 1 Year Membership - £100/year
- Individuals who are a part of our founding organisations (covered as a part of your organisation membership)
- Individual- 1 Year Membership - £25/year

ICAN declaration
All charities, organisations, and individuals who are accepted as an ICAN member will need to sign the below declaration.
" I hereby acknowledge that all animals are sentient beings, capable of rich emotions, have the capacity to feel pain and are with complex, species-specific needs.
I declare that in the care, management and training of all animals I interact with, I will always seek to promote positive emotions and protect against negative ones.
Furthermore, I will always endeavour to understand the specific needs and welfare of the animals in my care and fulfil them to the best of my ability."
