The two ICAN Co-Coordinators, Ali Greenwood and Serra Gouriet, work very hard behind the scenes to answer emails, coordinate with our member organisations, support members on social media and, of course, network!
When you email or direct message ICAN on social media, you will be talking to either one of them. They would be very happy to hear from you, so please contact us or email us at any time.
Both Ali and Serra are highly certified and experienced in animal training and welfare, and both are deeply committed to maintaining ICAN’s force-free training and animal welfare ethos in their own work and for ICAN.

Especially Vinny who at just a few weeks old had to have a full leg amputation due to an accident. Ali completed the AIM Level 5 Canine Behaviour Practitioner course in December 2025, and is now doing Level 6 CAB with The DoGenius Institute. She has completed the City and Guilds Scentwork Handler and Instructor with College of Scent Dogs and this is her favourite thing to do with her own dogs as well as the people and dogs she works with. In 2019 Ali opened DogWuf Training, now called DogWuf Training & Behaviour based in Berkshire, UK. Learn more about Ali’s work at DogWuf Training & Behaviour. |

Serra GourietDipCABT (Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour) through COAPE, Animal Welfare Inspector. Serra Gouriet has over 6 years of dedicated experience in animal welfare, working as an inspector. Her strong passion for animal welfare and supporting dogs in need inspired her to complete the respected DipCABT (Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour) through COAPE. This qualification has significantly deepened her knowledge and skills in canine behaviour, enabling her to offer more effective and compassionate guidance to dogs and their owners. She lives with her own rescue dog, who is reactive around other dogs and deals with various additional challenges. These personal experiences played a major role in her decision to specialise in canine behaviour, giving her genuine insight and empathy when helping other families facing similar issues. Serra is currently consulting on a private basis, offering behaviour and training support to individual dogs and their owners. She also founded a private dog park with exclusive bookings, created specifically to accommodate all dog types, especially reactive, nervous, or dog-selective dogs like her own, allowing them to enjoy safe off-leash freedom and the benefits of a park environment without the pressure of group interactions. Looking ahead, Serra intends to return to animal welfare work in the future while continuing to support dogs and their people through behaviour and training. | ![]() |
